The University at Albany congratulates more than 3,400students who were named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference has announced that 102 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes competing during 2016-17 academic year have been named to the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. The honor roll, previously called the all-academic team, includes players maintaining a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade-point-average.

Fifty-two members of the Class of 2017 received Senior Service Awards in recognition of their outstanding commitment to volunteerism while at SUNY Oneonta. Students who completed at least 350 hours of service through the college's Center for Social Responsibility and Community (CSRC) were recognized during a reception on May 12.
Eleven SUNY Oneonta students and two faculty members are in New Orleans this week for a wetlands restoration service-learning project in the Lower 9th Ward. Accompanied by Wendy Lascell, assistant professor of geography, and Anita Levine, assistant professor of elementary education and reading, the students arrived in New Orleans on Feb. 28 and will return on March 7.
SUNY Oswego has made Deans' Awards to a select group of students who are starting at the college in fall 2016. The scholarships are $6,000 over four years. For non-New York state students, the total award can increase to as much as $42,000 in combination with a Destination Oswego scholarship.
Nearly 200 of the college's top students were honored with a variety of academic scholarships recently. The scholarships, offered by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation, celebrate the depth of student excellence across the college's more than 80 academic programs.
